Kazak Rugs

Kazak Rugs are traditional tribal rugs originated in the Caucasus mountains, eastern Europe. These rugs have been around for centuries and they are characterized by the bold geometrical and fascinating medallions and animal figures. Most Kazakh rugs use red, ivory and blue fine wools.

There are two types of Kazak rugs, “Regular and Super.” A regular Kazak tends to be made with a lower density as well as a more coarse wool. The Super Kazakh, is better in quality because of it’s softer wool and higher density.
